1. Plan out a route ahead of time so you

2. Stay in well-lit places so you can see
cars and drivers can see you.
3. Be sure to wear comfy shoes so you don’t
trip and fall.
4. Try to avoid masks and instead paint your
child’s face so there isn’t anything obstructing their vision.
5. Bring a flashlight and wear something that
drivers can see (A flashing necklace or flashing pin on your shirt)
6. If you plan on bringing your fur babies
with you be reminded that many times costumes can be scary, so if you dog is a
bit protective it may be better to let him/her sit this one out.
7. It is best to go only to homes of those
you know, but if you stop at some you don’t know, play it safe and as always,
check your child’s candy. Only keep wrapped candy and throw out any homemade
goodies (unless of course you know who gave them to you.)
